What Muhasib handles
The situations that break generic software are designed in from day one.
No-show / late cancellation: configurable grace window before auto-flagging No-Show; optional no-show fee charged via a standalone sales_orders line against the client (requires a saved card/deposit policy — Advanced).
Double-booking prevention: hard block at the calendar layer; an override requires Manager permission (rare, e.g. genuine emergency squeeze-in) and is logged.
Walk-in without appointment: handled as an immediate Checked-In booking, not a separate code path.
Package abuse / sharing between clients: package balance is tied to the purchasing client's Contact record; transfer to another client requires an explicit Manager-approved transfer action, logged.
Stylist leaves mid-appointment / reassignment: appointment can be reassigned to another qualified stylist without cancelling; commission split rule (Advanced) if two stylists contributed.
Consumable stock-out mid-service: service can still be completed and billed; consumable line is backfilled/adjusted, does not block checkout.
