How it works
The business model
Unit of sale: a room-night against a specific Room Type and Rate Plan, for a defined stay (arrival date → departure date). Ancillary sales (F&B, spa, minibar, laundry, transport) are billed per-stay to the guest's folio, not sold as standalone retail transactions (though a walk-in restaurant guest not staying at the hotel still flows through pos/sales_orders normally).
