Retail & General Trading
ERP software built for wholesale trading.
A B2B trading business that buys in bulk from manufacturers/importers and resells in large lot sizes to retailers, sub-distributors, and other businesses — not to end consumers.

How it works
The business model
Wholesale traders buy container/pallet-load quantities directly from manufacturers or import agents, often on letter-of-credit or 30-60 day supplier terms, and hold stock in a warehouse (not a retail shop). They sell exclusively to trade accounts — retailers, sub-wholesalers, contractors, other businesses — in case/carton/pallet lot sizes at tiered, customer-specific price lists (volume breaks: buy 10 cartons get tier-2 pricing).

What Muhasib handles
The situations that break generic software are designed in from day one.
Order value exceeds customer's remaining credit limit mid-negotiation — system must block confirm, not just warn, unless approvals override is granted.
Split-container delivery (partial quantity arrives, remainder weeks later) — Goods Receipt must support multiple partial receipts against one PO without closing it prematurely.
Customer-specific price list conflicting with a temporary promotional price — price engine must resolve precedence (customer tier price wins unless promo is explicitly stacked).
Backorder fulfillment after original order was partially invoiced — remaining balance must invoice separately without duplicating tax/discount already applied.
Field salesperson takes an order offline (poor connectivity at a customer site) — order must queue and sync to sales_orders/inventory on reconnect without double-booking stock.
Case/pallet UOM rounding — an order for 105 units when the case size is 24 must clearly flag the odd 9-unit remainder rather than silently rounding.
